Nokia Mobile Phones
During my time at Nokia I've participated in the design of a linux-based operating system. I was responsible for various applications like the camera, lockscreen, user guides and tutorials.
Nokia - Interaction Designer - 2012/2013

What I did in brief
- Produced a lot of wireframes
- Work closely with Project Mangers and developers
- Gather feedback from real users
In 2011 Nokia launched Nokia N9. A great example, a phone pioneer in its era. Containing many innovations that we could see years later in Apple phones and other competitors. What we wanted to do, and the project I was working on was to develop a new operating system targeting low-end smartphones, adding many features seen in Nokia N9. On devices there were no buttons, only volume keys and lock buttons (like in N9). Camera worked via touch screen UI.
Unfortunately the project was cancelled, so I can’t share much on the project.
My role. I was responsible for several applications/feature like camera, lock screen, user guide, and tutorialMy main task was to provide the best user experience having always in mind the users (an hyper-social youth), the technical limitations and deadlines. I was part of as big machine, with daily stand-up and working closely with project managers and developers. It was a great learning experience!
